Dialogue Forum on AI and Higher Education

Developments in the field of AI are bringing about far-reaching changes to the way teaching, learning and research are conducted at universities, both now and in the future. For this reason, the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education (IL) and the Munich Center for Digital Sciences and AI (MUC.DAI) have launched the ‘Generative AI and Higher Education Dialogue Forum’. The Dialogue Forum is open to lecturers, students and staff members at HM.

On 2 June 2025, the NEO.Hub for the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education organised the engagement event ‘Future Skills Lab – Skills for the AI World’. The event was aimed at students and lecturers at the HM.

On 19 October 2023, the ii.oo project and the NEO.Hub for the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education organised a planning workshop on the topic of ‘The Future of Assessment’ for students at the HM.

ChatGPT Discussion Forum and Hackathon

ChatGPT is currently the talk of the town and is generating a correspondingly wide response in academic discourse. Here at HM, too, questions regarding the opportunities and risks for Teaching and Research have already been the subject of intensive discussion. On 20 April, the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education and MUC.DAI organised a dialogue forum and hackathon on this topic to explore the possibilities of ChatGPT together.

#PartiWoche – Participation Week

Helping to shape the hybrid campus of the future: For the first time, the NEO – Campus der Zukunft project, in collaboration with the student representation at HM, organised a week of events to inspire and encourage student creativity. The Week of Participation (#PartiWoche) took place from 2 to 6 May 2022 at Hochschule München.
