Circular and digital renewal of central Europe construction and building sector

The construction industry is a major contributor to resource consumption, waste generation and greenhouse gas emissions. The introduction of circular and digital practices can help to reduce the sector's environmental impact. The ReBuilt project promotes these approaches in an educational program and implements new solutions. The partners are also developing a transnational strategy for circular and digital construction based on green labeling, end-of-waste criteria and green public procurement.

HUB HM

Germany’s hub will focus on research and development of innovative circular construction materials, such as recycled aggregates, recycled and secondary raw materials, recycling concrete and alternative binders. With its strong research base and collaboration with the industry, the hub will support the material performance, standardisation, application in projects and foster industry uptake of next-generation circular construction materials.
