Prof. Dr. Bernd Hofmann is a Professor for Banking & Finance at the Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences with 20+ years experience in the financial industry.

Prior to his position at Hochschule München, he held various leadership positions at Credit Suisse in Zurich.

His responsibilities included overseeing various projects in the areas of structuring, capital management, risk management and refinancing.

Before joining Credit Suisse he was working for Siemens Financial Services, MEAG and DIT – Deutscher Investment Trust.

Bernd is the author of numerous studies and has extensive teaching and project experience in the fields of corporate and sustainable finance, risk management, digitalisation & automatization as well as securitization.
